These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Endless Notepad. By downloading, installing, purchasing, or using the app, you agree to these terms.

1. About Endless Notepad

Endless Notepad is a simple note-taking app designed to let users create, edit, organise, share, and delete notes on their device.

2. Licence

Subject to these terms, SymbioFoundry grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the version of Endless Notepad that you lawfully obtain through an authorised app store or distribution channel.

You do not acquire ownership of the app, source code, branding, design assets, or other intellectual property.

3. Accounts and local storage

Endless Notepad does not require a SymbioFoundry account. Notes are intended to be stored locally on your device.

You are responsible for:

• the notes you create;
• maintaining any device backups you want to keep;
• securing your device;
• deciding when to share, copy, export, or delete note content.

SymbioFoundry does not control third-party services or apps you use to share, store, back up, or process note content.

4. User content

You keep ownership of the content you enter into your notes.

You are responsible for ensuring your use of the app and your note content complies with applicable law and does not infringe the rights of others.

5. Sharing

If you choose to share note content through Android or another app, that action is initiated by you. Once shared, the recipient service or person may handle the content under their own terms and privacy policy.

6. Purchases, app stores, and refunds

If Endless Notepad is sold through Google Play or another authorised app store, purchases and refunds may be subject to that app store's rules, payment terms, and refund processes.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

7. Updates and changes

SymbioFoundry may provide updates, fixes, improvements, or new versions of the app. Some changes may be required to maintain compatibility, security, platform compliance, or app store requirements.

SymbioFoundry is not required to provide any particular update schedule unless separately agreed in writing.

8. Acceptable use

You must not:

• copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, or sublicense the app except as allowed by law or authorised by SymbioFoundry;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where applicable law permits this despite contractual restrictions;
• remove or misuse SymbioFoundry branding or notices;
• use the app in a way that is unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or infringes another person's rights.

9. Availability and compatibility

Endless Notepad is provided for compatible Android devices and operating system versions. Compatibility may vary depending on device settings, manufacturer changes, operating system updates, app store requirements, and third-party services.

10. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, Endless Notepad is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

SymbioFoundry does not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device, or suitable for every purpose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, SymbioFoundry is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages arising from use of the app.

SymbioFoundry is not responsible for loss of notes or data caused by device failure, operating system issues, app deletion, local storage clearing, user deletion, third-party services, or failure to maintain backups.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights, remedies, guarantees, or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under New Zealand law or other applicable consumer protection laws.

12. Intellectual property

SymbioFoundry retains ownership of its app design, branding, source code, visual assets, documentation, and other intellectual property, except for content that you create in your notes.

13. Termination

Your licence to use the app may end if you breach these terms. If the licence ends, you must stop using the app and delete any unauthorised copies.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, subject to any mandatory consumer laws that apply in your country or region.
