This Privacy Policy explains how Endless Notepad handles information. It is intended to support the public website, the in-app privacy notice, and the Google Play Store privacy policy requirement.

1. Summary

Endless Notepad is designed as a simple local note-taking app. The app does not require a user account, does not provide SymbioFoundry-controlled cloud sync, and is intended to store note content locally on your device.

2. Information stored locally on your device

Endless Notepad may store the following information locally on your device:

• notes you create;
• note titles or first-line headings generated by the app;
• colour labels or visual note markers selected in the app;
• app settings or preferences needed for normal app operation.

This information is stored on your device. SymbioFoundry does not operate a server that receives or stores your note content.

3. Information we do not collect through the app

As currently designed, Endless Notepad does not collect or transmit to SymbioFoundry:

• your note content;
• your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or address book;
• your location;
• photos, videos, or files outside the notes you create in the app;
• financial or payment card information;
• advertising identifiers;
• health information;
• analytics profiles or behavioural advertising data.

If a later version adds cloud sync, accounts, analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or any other data transmission, this policy and the Google Play Data Safety declarations must be updated before or at the time of release.

4. Voice input and Android system services

Endless Notepad may allow you to enter text using voice input available through your Android device, keyboard, or operating system.

When you use device or keyboard dictation, audio processing is handled by your device, operating system, keyboard provider, or other voice input service you choose. Endless Notepad receives the resulting text that you place into a note. Endless Notepad does not separately record, store, or transmit audio files to SymbioFoundry.

Your use of Android, keyboard, or third-party dictation services may be subject to the privacy settings and policies of those services.

5. Sharing notes

Endless Notepad may allow you to share note content using Android's share features. Sharing is controlled by you. If you choose to share a note with another app, person, or service, the recipient app or service will handle that information under its own terms and privacy policy.

SymbioFoundry is not responsible for how third-party apps or services handle information after you choose to share it.

6. Purchases and payment information

If Endless Notepad is distributed as a paid app through Google Play, payment processing is handled by Google Play. SymbioFoundry does not receive your full payment card details through the app.

Google Play purchases, refunds, receipts, and account-level payment information are handled under Google's applicable terms and privacy policies.

7. Data retention and deletion

Notes remain on your device unless you delete them, clear the app's data, uninstall the app, or your device operating system removes them.

When you delete a note inside the app, the app is intended to remove that note from its local app storage. Copies may still exist outside the app if you previously shared the note, copied it, backed up your device, took a screenshot, exported it, or stored it through another service.

Because SymbioFoundry does not operate a server containing your notes, we cannot recover deleted notes and do not have server-side note data to delete on request.

8. Security

Endless Notepad relies on your device and operating system security for local storage protection. You are responsible for securing your device, screen lock, backups, and any services you use to share or store copies of notes.

9. Children's privacy

Endless Notepad is not specifically directed to children. If the app is later targeted to children or included in a child-directed offering, this policy and the app's Google Play declarations must be reviewed and updated before publication.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the app changes or legal, technical, or platform requirements change. The effective date above shows the date of the current version.
